Fat shaming is ordering food for a group of four, more food than any one individual could eat at once, and having the stranger taking my order tell me “you really shouldn’t be eating all of that”

It’s being told by men that they want to fuck me but don’t want anyone to know they want to fuck me.

It’s walking into a clothing retailer with a thin friend and having the retail worker tell men, without solicitation, that I would find nothing in their store.

It’s being told by women who are jealous in their relationships that I am the only woman they can trust their boyfriends around because their boyfriends would never be interested in me.

It’s being the butt of a joke the moment you walk into a buffet.

It’s having almost no affordable and fashionable clothing choices while also having to appear twice as groomed and stylish as thin women to be considered half as put together.

It’s being passed over for work because potential employers believe they can gauge your work ethic and ability by your pant size.

It’s fat people receiving higher prison sentences than thin people for comparable offenses.

It’s thin people characterizing fat people as having poor hygiene.

It’s behaviors that, when exhibited by thin/fit people would be considered as indicative of an eating disorder, are considered as positive life changes when exhibited by fat people.

And it is absolutely fat people dying of sub standard health care because doctors write off every symptom as being weight related, without bothering to check if it were due to another contributing factor.

Thin people love to treat us as less-than-human and then get mad at us for pointing it out.
